The next step you will want to do is sign up for local puppy classes so that when your puppy turns 12 weeks old you are ready. You will want to sign up for your food order through Farmina on our website 2 weeks before your puppy goes home to make sure that your food arrives in time so you are ready for your new family member. You are also welcome to sign up any other dogs or cats in your house hold.You get our company discount when signing up. So you pay what we pay for the food. You will need to select what formula you want your dog on. I highly recommend the Lamb and Blueberry with Pumpkin or the Quinoa Digestion Formula. If your golden has allergies. The Quinoa Skin and Coat. Prices are subject to change as Farmina changes their prices we do not have control over their prices. As far as I know I can order their canned dog and cat food. Please note if you would like that as well. I highly recommend to anyone having 1bag of the Quinoa digestive formula on hand if your puppy ever gets and upset stomach. This is for a one year subscription with free auto shipping and a 1 year nutrition plan. Please contact us when your subscription is over so we can set you up again for the same discount. We offer a puppy formula, Adult formula and Senior formula. The difference between the medium and maxi is the kibble size. When you place your order you will receive a similar nutrition plan to keep your pet healthy.

Register microchip through AKC Reunite

You will want to register your microchip right away so that your new golden is protected and it verifies that you are the rightful owner if your golden became lost. AKC Reunite has a phenomenal program with just a small one time fee. You can also custom order microchip ID tags for your pet. Link is below for immediate registration
